thin sheet stainless steel - i worked it a lot heating, bending, sandblasting etc which created the texture and colour - it started perfect, smooth, shiny sheet metal! unfortunately, i gave this piece to my mum and she kept it on the top of the cupboard in the kitchen above the cooker and the steam and warmth made it rust so my mum threw it out!!!
