Time for Xmas!!!

Went to see paramore with my good friend hannah wednesday night - it was awesome! with ymas supporting!! tho i have never been surrounded by so many 12yr old emo kids(mainly screaming girls)!!! hahaha it was a great night!!
yesterday i had a busy busy day - i went into uni to finish my bowls before i went home. turned out my bowls were too wet!(after them always being too dry) so i had to laeve them to dry till after lunch then when i went back they were too dry!!!! i did what i could but i was rushing and getting so stressed with it i ended up with 2 bowls when i started with 10!!!!! so i now have a lot of work to do after xmas!!! but there's nothing i can do about it till january when i go back so i'm not going to get too stressed lol i'm just going to concentrate on my sketch book over the holidays and get loads of research :-)
its going to be a good christmas this year :-) i will see my friends and family loads, stop at my boyfriends lots too and work so i have money next term :-)

current Uni work ...

i'm currently in my first project at uni - or first proper project anyway. i'm bassing it on tea bowls - i was going to base it on the Japanese Tea Ceremony but my tutor stopped me and said it would be too complicated (maybe she thinks i'm thick cos it would have only taken an extra day to do the research) so i'm basically, looking at tea bowls and making a selection of bowls inspired by them. i was going to do pinched bowls like how they make them for the Japanese tea ceremony but i remembered i get too bored doing too many pinch pots and they usually end up all looking the same - so i thought i'd throw all my bowls for this project as i'm still fresh to throwing and could do with practice - also, when i get it right, its quicker and easier than pinching and i can do a wider variety of bowl shapes - or i will when i'm more practiced ....
the only problem i'm finding atm is that the pots are drying too fast to turn them propperly (turning is where you put the made pot upsede down on the potters wheel and, using tools, sculpt the base to make a foot etc and get rid of the excess clay in the base so it isnt too bottom-heavy) so i've been getting a bit frustrated with it. Other than that, my uni course is completely easy and trouble free :-)
for now ... hahahahaaa

well .... lets see .... blog number one ...

well, i guess this is it. my first blog lol
nothing exciting has happened today to write about, although i am going to see paramore tomorrow with my friend hannah. so i am rather excited about that. i've just told my boyfriend i miss him (altho i only saw him yesterday) and he asked me if i'm drunk! he always assumes i'm drunk if i tell him i miss him - even tho everytime i'm sober! lol - he's a funny man :-)
